Nirmala Tummalapenta, MD, is an experienced primary care provider at Boulevard Medical HealthCare/Tender Medical Care, P.C. in Bronx, New York. Dr. Tummalapenta provides comprehensive and wholesome care in a state-of-the-art practice, by using cutting edge technology and updated evidence-based medicine. This care is delivered in a friendly and professional manner.

She recieved her medical degree in Coimbatore Medical College. Then, completed her Post-Graduate Internal Medicine residency at Cornell University New York Methodist Hospital. She has been providing patient care for over 30 years. Dr. Tummalapenta is a volunteer attending at Montefiore Hospital and part of the Columbia Affiliated Physicians.

Dr. Tummalapenta is committed to treating patients with complete and holisitic care. One of her priorities is educating and counseling patients on lifestyle changes and prevention of illness. This empowers patients to make healthier decisions and improve disease outcomes. She manages chronic conditions, such as diabetes and blood pressure, completes immigration physicals, and much more.
